An attempt to transform everyday walking into an act of exploration. Using a handheld scanner, we digitally archived the details of signs, walls, and surfaces that usually pass by as background in our daily lives. By "translating" the three-dimensional city into two-dimensional textures, the breathing of materials and the dialogue between surfaces—often imperceptible to the naked eye—begin to emerge. This project is a record of visual fieldwork: collecting the smallest units that constitute the city and reconstructing them as a single "specimen box."
