"In an era where war, peace, and revolution—every single word—is ultimately consumed."
This piece overlays slogans such as "Revolution" and "Peace," stylized as advertising, upon an underlying article that takes a cold, market-driven view: "War drives the economy."
The work is not about whether capitalism or socialism is fundamentally correct.
It reflects the modern sentiment that any ideology or sense of justice, before you realize it, is treated merely as a "sales copy."
In a reality where even the word "peace" is handled with an advertising sensibility, this piece visualizes the conflicted feeling—the desire to wish for peace, while simultaneously sensing that this desire itself is being consumed—by explicitly using a two-layered structure of a news article and an advertisement.
Yet, this very work will also become a "product."
We place it here, embracing that inherent contradiction.
